Bk, Wendy's, McDonald's, are all the same poutine. Harvey's is a step but still similar.

I wouldn't get it other than if I'm hammered and can't help myself

Honestly they’re all pretty different if you’ve tried them all. I actually think McDonald’s is the best of the bunch if you get a good location. I have one near me and they almost always have squeaky curds, fresh fries, and serviceable gravy. Harvey’s is better if you’re willing to spend more, I will say they never have squeaky curds tho…

Most of the places listed serve pretty similar poutine in my experience, but definitely not McDonald's. I've never gotten those giant melted cheese globs like in the OP at a McDonald's.

It’s very surprising, but honestly imo the thing McDonald’s does best poutine wise (and not just because of bad competition) is curds. The only other fast food place I’ve ever gotten properly squeaky curds is a&w and that was literally once in my life. My local McDonald’s almost always delivers on curds tho. It suffers cause of the gravy but even that’s not too bad and is still enjoyable.

Harvey's is surprisingly good. Like I never considered eating there for the longest time but it's actually decent. Just sucks that there aren't as many locations near me. If I have the option to get it I'll pick it over most over places. They have one of the best fast food poutines and the burgers are thick and juicy.

As a Canadian company that is a massive failure on their part. I pretty well go there and a&w for fast food now, which their poutine is also in the subclass with BKs.

Harveys is the best of the fast food places ive had but they're some others that are good like Smokes but I classify them separate because they're not as available and popular.

Taste isn't bad at all to me and still enjoy it but the old potiine in the black container with plastic covers and using actual curds are the glory days i miss smh

Looks like week old curds. Terrible imo. I've had DQ poutine and it looks super similar. Gravy was off though. Hope it was good enough to eat.
