Question Rounded corners
I'm not a Power BI user (I'm a UX/UI designer) but I'm working with someone who knows it and they've said they can't round corners on components. Square edges makes my eyes bleed so - can you round corners in Power BI? Cheers

What components, exactly?
Yes, you can round the corners of visuals. Maybe there's some you can't but I don't know what they are.
I suspect this person is either full of it (they just don't like rounded corners), or they don't actually know powerbi that well.
It's in the border options. And sadly, I don't believe you can round corners without one. Of course, you can just match the visual background or even the canvas.

Never. I haven't gotten over the windows phone metro tiles. All corners will be sharp to the touch. This is business.

I was exactly like that, now I do mixed. Outer edges are squared, because monitors are, but inside edges are rounded. If it's nested then I alternate, square (whole app or report boundaries), rounded (sections), square or no borders (inputs/label/data)

Agreed. I don't do full google style rounded edges. Just very subtle roundness. It helps break up any sort of grid of tiles.

Square will be fashionable again before you know it

It's the same as clothing, we cycle back and forth thru styles because people like changing things and seeing new stuff. There is no "Better" because better changes over time and you start to think different is better simply because it's different.

Lots of companies adopting the cosy rounded corner/pill shaped/material you style looks at the moment. They're trying to get you comfy with change. Look at Meta with Muse, Open AI with their cuddly Dots, Apple HomeView with their soft liquid glass squares. All a ruse to get you to onboard cutesywutesy privacy invading devices and systems into your home. Not for me. I want cold piercing uncomfortable square edges that stab me in the eyes and keep me on my toes. This is Windows Vista all over again.
When they've finished prying into our homes, they'll go back to the square/sleek look to show us how modern and edgy they are.

Man you got me lmao with the Stab me in eyes comment 😂
I’m old so I stay away from most of the data guzzlers, don’t need any of their crap, every time I need a new account for something I sigh violently and throw a conniption and convince myself I don’t need it anyways.

There’s no built-in option for the bar charts themselves, only for borders around shapes and visuals.
But you can fake it with error bars. Set the upper bound to the bar value, change the marker to a circle and make it the same size as the bar thickness. Marker size only goes up to 10 though, so you might need to make the bars thinner.
I've tried it once, it looked odd and I went back to square corners. Because it’s not really rounded corners, it’s a full circle on the end, so you can’t control how round it is. To me it looks a bit weird, but depends what you’re going for.
There are tutorials online like this Making Rounded Progress Bar Charts in Power BI - The Data School or also videos on "How to Power BI"
Alternatively as others said Deneb or another custom visual.

Soon! How soon, no one knows, but MS did say soon at the last Fabcon.

Since you’re a UX designer, there’s an approach you’ll probably like: design the page background in Figma (or even PowerPoint), with all the rounded cards, inner panels and headers, then export it as SVG or PNG and set it as the canvas background (Format page → Canvas background, Image fit: Fit).
Then place the visuals on top with their own background and border switched off. You get full control over every corner radius and the inner shapes.
The catch is that if a visual moves or gets resized, the background needs updating too, so it works best once the layout is fairly final.

Arredondar bordas de cartões ou gráficos ele faz mas arredondar as barras de um gráfico de barras não, mas se deixar de lado o gráfico nativo e usar um deneb ou html content até dá, porque ai você faz no codigo

Deneb can definitely do it. Though it will involve more work.
Personally, I'm not fond of rounded corners in charts. It only adds visual fluff without adding any value to data story and even makes it harder to read data at times.

I mean you can use something like Deneb to create custom visuals, but it’s definitely a lot more work

What components? Layout elements and buttons - no problem. You can use an SVG image for the background. You can use border radius property for visuals, custom background shapes (better use SVG background) and buttons. Just don't forget that data visualization and UX/UI design are not exact synonyms. Data visualization is, first of all, about making data easy to understand. Rounded bars on a bar chart? Does it help business users with data understanding? Does it help comparing the bars? Or just comforts designer's (not an actual user) eyes? Focus on the data understanding.
Same about color choice. In BI data visualization focus should be on how it helps end users with data understanding, not on marketing brand colors, designer's eyes etc.

Rounded corners? that sounds like Tableau talk. We're a square-edge company here.

Absolutely. Round 'em up boys and girls.
