Silver cell fume production

Hi yall, I’m hoping to start up my first silver cell in a couple weeks at 3.5L. Is there significant gas that is produced while the cell is running or can I get away with running it indoors? Sorry if this is a dumb question but I’m quite inexperienced with electrolytic refining. Appreciate any input, thanks!!

It doesn’t produce significant fumes, but even so, I would not recommend running it indoors. Even though fume production is low, it’s not none. And even a little bit of NO2 will rust and ruin anything metal or that can react with it.

What’s the best way to run it outdoors without contamination or sunlight affecting it? Cover with a big storage tote maybe?

That is what I usually do. Just be careful when lifting the tote, I’ve nearly knocked mine over once or twice.

I also want to start one eventually. Thanks for the advice.
