This subreddit is for sharing propaganda to view with objectivity. It is absolutely not for perpetuating the message of the propaganda. Here we should be conscientious and wary of manipulation/distortion/oversimplification (which the above likely has), not duped by it. "Don't be a sucker."

Stay on topic -- there are hundreds of other subreddits that are expressly dedicated to rehashing tired political arguments. No partisan bickering. No soapboxing. Take a chill pill. "Don't argue."

Saw Anti-Flag open up for Less Than Jake in downtown San Diego back in like 2014, was such a great show, knocked it out of the park!

Wondered where they were recently and stumbled upon a lot of REALLY damning sexual assault allegations against the singer, Justin Sane, back in 2023.. Gut punching discovery for me as their 2002 album 'Mobilize' was one of my first really solid political punk albums for me growing up! I'd even tell people that it's where I first started becoming politically aware.

Fuck em tho, as well as any other of these types of creeps.. Gut punch nonetheless, he was probably prowling San Diego at the exact same time as the show I went to a decade ago, really crummy discovery, good thing punk music is so vast, I found my way lol

Yeah that was definitely a gut punch for me as well. Anti flag was a near constant in the early 2000s for me and a big part of my intro to punk in high-school.

Yeah, I distinctly remember him being a creep when I met him. That news was not at all shocking to me. I tried explaining more but the AI flagged my comment and wouldn't let me post it lol.

As I recall, Justin fled the country and the rest of the band basically ended over it (in disgust). But it was awhile ago when I read that.

I saw The Soviettes when this album was being promoted, and it was an absolutely killer show.

I miss the times when we thought Bush was the worst politician that could ever happen

I have both volume #1 and #2 on CD. Found them in a thrift shop for $10 a few years ago. They include a DVD with music videos as well + some stand-up comedy from the Bush era.

Back when I thought being anti MIC wasn’t a partisan game. How naive of me
