Question Epididymitis.
Epididymitis post brachytherapy. Had it treated with antibiotics and anti inflammatory medication. But the pain has returned a month after it had cleared. What are peoples experiences 🤔

I had tenderness in my right testicle for several years now. I stopped taking meds but I make sure I'm well supported and that helps to minimize the pain.

Sorry you are going through this. I made a lighthearted video about how to self-treat testicular discomfort. BTW, your case of returning pain in the testicles is not that unusual. Here is the video: https://youtu.be/Ws5QtgQj8zM?is=dbJOZQ6P_kIvDwn1

It’s weird I’m a woman and I knew what (and how to pronounce) Epididymitis! It rang a bell so I had a think…. My husband had it about 30 years ago and his .. do you call them nuts, nut sack, walnuts, balls, or testes? Had swelled and the epididymis had twisted, and swelled and one side was burning hot, it was scary for both of us. He had to have surgery to untangle it/untwist it. Full recovery. No loss of anything. Can barely see the scar now. Technology and googling is so helpful! We didn’t have that back then, so got our info from the GP.
And also, I’m am so pleased that you get to ask and get questions on very personal, intimate concerns and everyone is very supportive. This sub is such a safe place for everyone.

Generally refer to them as balls where I'm from . 😆 Good to here your husband made a full recovery can be a scary thing and painful. I agree about this platform. I had a ultrasound no twisting just infection on second round of antibiotics.

Yes...that was 10 years before prostate cancer diagnosis. Original diagnosis was varicocele but was updated at a later time.

I have to Google Epidiymitis. One for pronunciation two for definition and 3 because I'm curious. But to answer your question no known experience on my part. Okay I'm certain I have suffered from "Gradual, one sided testicle pain and tenderness".
