When social media now dictates the promotion of music, a new scene has emerged in Glasgow with fellow bands 'supersun, fatale and bogle' putting up their own bills- booking and selling out their own shows with 'the cabbage is forever' movement.

With a passion for 'the old way' we will be releasing a limited and polished 7inch record soon including 'spacemen 4' and another original 'Death of Pop' before it is released to streaming platforms next year.

I was in a record store this weekend and I overheard the staff talking about some lost tapes that were discovered in a yard sale somewhere in Florida. The guy talking about it hadn’t heard the music but he was just telling the story. He said it was late 50’s and 60’s recordings. It’s supposed to be psych / electronic stuff. Is anyone aware of this? Id love to hear it. I can’t imagine what late 50’s psych would sound like. He said there were a bunch of tapes found.

Love this song, probably one of their more psychedelic ones. What effects are necessary to achieve this sharp guitar tone?

Sound Techniques was a recording studio in Chelsea, London that was operational between 1965 and 1976. Housed in a former dairy, it was founded by recording engineers Geoff Frost and John Wood. (Sort by: 'Artist').

The worker is already outside the surveillance grid when the album reaches its longest track. Nothing is chasing him. The city has simply stopped being able to prove where he is.

I placed "All Lights In Bangalore Couldn’t Find Me" after the literal escape because freedom arrived first as a problem of perception. Time had belonged to tasks, inspections and access records for six years. Once those measures fell away, an ordinary walk became strange enough to need the album’s widest music.

The track moves through psychedelic rock and progressive jazz-rock, with the city still present in reflections, wet roads and electric light. I did not want open deserts or cosmic distance. This altered space had to remain urban. The towers are still there; they have merely lost their authority as witnesses.

I am curious where listeners place psychedelic expansion in a narrative. Does it belong to the act of escape, the first unmeasured walk, or the delayed moment when the mind understands that nobody is coming to call it back?

Sunshine Superman is a killer album! Donovan reminds me of a fairy and the magician (tarot).

Though from Milwaukee, the video for this was filmed in Chicago at Grant Park.

Released in 1968 with many buildings absent from skyline.

You can see the John Hancock Center under construction which was finished to following year.
