Hey all!

Super proud to announce our 4th album released today ! It's a bit hard to pinpoint a single genre, but describing it as instrumental heavy psych should probably fit the best, so you folks might like it.

It's 4 tracks of around 10 minutes each, so get comfortable, relax, and enjoy the ride hopefully :D

I've long argued that Funkadelic up to about 1972 were a powerhouse psychedelic/acid-rock band that got swallowed up and overshadowed by the larger P-Funk collective once the five-piece lineup started coming apart. Oddly enough, their legacy doesn't get its due precisely >because< P-Funk are still so relevant. It's cool to see that George Clinton's body of work continues to resonate so widely decades after the fact, but in this case I think it's a double-edged sword. Because when you say "P-Funk," it conjures all these outlandish images and sounds, but not so much the trailblazing psych rock aspect that defines that first handful of Funkadelic albums. Like so many artists who are so popular they become household names, there's an entire chapter of their history that's almost forgotten about even though so many people know who they are.

This song Cerebral Crack is pretty dope.

Hi there fellow psychedelic music enjoyers! Today my band - the Kansas City based rock band The Sounds of Many released our self titled debut album! We take inspirations from 60s rock, psychedelic rock, garage rock, shoegaze, and punk! I hope y’all really dig it!

Hey peeps! I've been making a playlist for a party and I'm looking for more fast paced songs. So far it's a lot of psych pop / rock, dream pop, surf rock etc. But all genres are welcome and encouraged!

Either songs that are ocean/water themed or songs that just sound like they're underwater. Phasers, tremolo, reverb etc.

Cheers!

edit: Mostly looking for songs that SOUNDS like they're underwater, not only water themed song titles/lyrics. :)

Hey!

Would be fun to hear what you guys think about this, newly released!
