Question how to properly clean anus?
hi. this is a very, very embarrassing post to make but im desperate, hopefully someone here can help me out.
i cannot properly clean my butt after pooping. at least not without spending far too much time in the bathroom and wasting too much toilet paper.
whenever i go number 2 only a small percent of the fecal matter actually lands in the toilet. the rest sticks to the hairs on my anus, causing me to stand there for upwards of an hour scooping it off and picking hair out of the toilet paper as to not clog the toilet, not to mention having to dig the fecal matter out of the crack to fully clean it. its incredibly messy and time consuming. it even gives me wrist pain sometimes! im spending over an hour in the bathroom and using an entire roll of toilet paper, oftentimes a bit more than that, each time i hear natures call. as you can probably imagine this is incredibly distressing. is there anything i can do to make it easier?

It sounds like a diet issue, you might need more fibre in your diet which helps “bind” it together, which should help clean up be easier once you’ve had a bowel movement

i do take fibre gummies whenever we have them, though the stock in our cabinet is inconsistent at best

You’ll need to be consistent by taking them daily, give it a week of consistent consumption of them and you’ll notice a huge difference

i typically take three of them per day, its just sometimes we run out midway through the week or forget to restock them. this has been an issue even with the gummies

The best ones I’ve found are the Metamucil fibre tablets, I take two a day with food and I don’t have any issues

try using wet/baby wipes, you'll only need max 3 to be clean

ive been trying to use them more often but they rip before i can get them out of their packaging

Three suggestions:
1. More fiber
2. Shave hair from your backside
3. When possible, get in the shower and spray your anal area until clean

Firstly, there’s no need to pick hairs out of the paper. Toilets are perfectly capable of handling that. Secondly, I would recommend trimming back there. I use Phillips OneBlade and a mirror. Thirdly, since you said you don’t have a bidet, I would highly recommend asking your parents to get one. They are much better than toilet paper. Failing that, jump in the shower and use soap and water. This is especially easier if you have a detachable shower head. Also don’t listen to the asshole in the other comment, this should be a space where people can ask questions without judgement.

I have been considering getting a bidet add on. They are not too expensive but very hygenic. I also heard guys use a watering can. Here where I live (US) we don't wash our ass after pooping and if you think anybody gets all of it with dry toilet paper, think again. Also look into the flushable wet wipes.
