OP Jindal vs Kautilya vs other private unis – Which one is worth it?

Hey reddit! If not NLSIU, IIT-D/B, etc., what's the best private alternative for policy, law, or interdisciplinary studies?

How do OP Jindal and Kautilya compare in terms of exposure, crowd, and career opportunities? Would love some real feedback!

kautilya is still new so the alumni network is basically nonexistent. that matters a lot for policy jobs where half the game is who you know

jindal has more connections and a bigger name but the crowd is polarizing. you get super driven kids mixed with rich kids who are just there cause their parents made them go somewhere. the career outcomes reflect that split

if you're self-motivated and can network aggressively, either could work. but i'd lean jindal just for the sheer number of doors it opens through the brand alone

It's just not worth going to jindal or Kautilya imo.

I dropped the idea of an MPP but back when I was researching IIMB had a programme. TISS may have some as well, also you could check Azim Premji University
