Discussion Can the dmc collab come back?

Hello! I actually started playing not long ago, but one of (if not the main reason) I started the game was for the collaboration with dmc (devil may cry), but at the moment they did the colaboration the game wasn’t available on my region, so I’m asking if there would be a chance of it coming back cause I really wanted Vergil

But also know the DMC tickets are being used as placeholders in the CN beta currently for something else...don't take that as confirmation but with a grain of salt

It's probably just a placeholder, though, but a double patch just happened this patch.

I highly doubt it. A lot of times, collabs rarely rerun in games. Once a collab is done, it probably won't come back.

The last collab was nice, but DMC was a whole other level. Anyway, licensing issues and timed contracts make it hard for repeats, like the Nier one. So don't hold hope for it.

That was only once, though, and I rarely ever see reruns in other games as well.

Most likely not out of kindness, but because SE needed money badly and Kuro had a few coins to spare for the rerun, I bet.

It is most definitely possible for the collab to rerun, considering Last Cloudia did its DMC collab at least three separate times, but that would require Kuro to not care about meta 24/7 (except for how they designed Kurumi)

To me it's a 75-25 situation cause I was day one player of pgr and we had our very first collab nieR automata where we got 9S, A2 and 2B. After that collab ended we got it again after 6 months but it was a one time thing. If we get a rerun then it would be Blackrock shooter then dmc if we take in order

There’s small chance DMC banners rerun ever happens unless Kuro collabs with the franchise again, which I doubt will happen. Safe to say, it won’t happen anytime soon.
