And sometimes the best ones never completely leave you. Odd thing, I started using relaxation visualizations for stress relief, as my job is extremely stressful, and I learned to visualize the ultimately relaxing environment. And one day... my dopey old cat, who'd been the best cat ever and who saw me through the worst time of my life, showed up in the visualization, and started purring and snuggling when I needed stress relief. And it wasn't my idea to include him, he just... showed up llike the good boy he had been.

Thanks for your kind words. She had been declining in health recently so we took her in for a maybe we can see what's wrong/quality of life evaluation and we didn't want them poking and prodding her anymore. So we went in with a full carrier and left with an empty one. My family is just trying to adjust.
