Discussion PS5] Anyone Else Experiencing Extremely Long Matchmaking Times on AP South-1?

Hey everyone!

I'm playing Rainbow Six Siege on PS5 from India, and matchmaking on the AP South-1 server takes 10+ minutes for Quick Match and Standard.

I've managed to get into a few games, so matchmaking does work occasionally, but the wait is ridiculous.

I'm curious:

  • Is anyone else experiencing this on AP South-1?
  • Have you found a way to get matches faster?
  • Does joining someone on EU or NA servers help?

I'd appreciate hearing from anyone who's dealt with something similar. I just want to play the game without spending half my gaming session in matchmaking!

Also the first one, the wait times are for ranked, quick matches are found <1 min most of the time, do you play on non-peak hours?

No, even for quick match it's the same issue. What are the peak hours for the game anyway? I've tried to connect in various time of the day and still it's the same.

I play at 4 on weekdays and 12 on weekends and i comfortably get matches <1 min

I get into the game at 10pm on weekdays, and try for 2-3 hours. Weekends evening time( 6pm) I get into the game and play 2-3 matches, then the issue starts again.

Yeah I have work bro. This is the only time that works on weekdays for me. Is there no other solution for this?

I have a friend on pc who changed his def servers to ap southeast. I queue w him

Bro there are no matches on that server. I'm literally level 6 but I can't even find bots to play with on quick match.

Exactly. I've spent more time in shooting range than in the game. So annoying.

Yar tumhe koi match nahi mile ga bro ap south is dead, you need friends to que on uae north, uae north Me bhi sirf raat ko matches lagte han baki poora din it takes time for ranked games

Even at night, I don't find any matches. It's not just ranked, even quick matches don't go into the game.
Btw, where do you find other server players?

Yeah if the game can connect to the next nearest server it would be great. But it just won't.
