Raja Ampat dive experiences

I would like to ask whether as a diver in RA you stay with one dive center and with it you visit all the interesting places, for example the eastern area around the island of Kri and also the southern and western areas (Arborek area and Manta points, Melissa garden...or is it better to divide the lobby into 2 parts and two dive centers and two accommodations.

How long do you plan to stay? If less than one week, one place, if more you can mix.

I'd visit two places. One being Kri/Gam (ie Tarzán, Corepen).

And do you have any idea about second divecenter and accomodation?

I really enjoyed Arborek. Other options would be Pam (amazing diving) and Batanta.

I am in contact on Arborek with Arborek dive shop.centrum. Do you know them? Do you dive with them?

Yes, I dove with them last year, I really enjoyed my experience with them.

Thank you it is very valuable infos! I have 3 days there. Have I chance to visit Melissa garden, Piaynemo.and any of mantapoints in this area with them? And Arborek dive shop did recomend me Sehati homesty. Do you know them? Or which HS sould you recomend me? Kind regards Richard

I stayed in Noviember and saw mantas 4 times. But don't ask to see mantas, just see what the sea has to offer. For going to Melissa garden, all the boat has to be interested... It is usually easier from Kri/Gam... There are many amazing diving sites arround Arborek (Citrus ridge, Mayheem, Lalosi, some secret spots) and leaving early from Arborek you often dive alone.

For acommodation I stayed in Worisun Homestay. I really enjoyed my stay, the only downside is that it was in a corner of the island so it was very pacefull (and great sunsets) but you had to walk 5-10 min to the dive shop each time.

Hi, I have looked Warisun homestay and red recenses. It is very nice and homestay. One think is not confortabe- matraces on the floor not beds. Do you have contact to the owner? I d like to ask him several thinks. And one mor question. Why is more easy to get melissa garden from Kri then from Arborek?
