It turns out my self-control in stationery shops is completely non-existent, and I have officially accumulated a mountain of holiday postcards and cards. There are non Christmas themed cards too for those that don't celebrate.

Instead of letting them sit in a drawer plotting a festive uprising, I’m sending them out into the world to do their job: brightening up your mailbox! Many of you are probably already on my list but please do fill out the form so I can get preferences.

Royal Mail runs their special festive postmark cancellations at the start of November (not sure of theme yet this year) for postcards, meaning I need to get organised now.

I'm so sad I missed out on those this year (didn't know about them until it was too late), and they didn't have any for Norway this year anyway :( I love it! To answer your question; my username have a kinda silly backstory😅 I used to play a horse game back when I was younger (I still play it every now and then oops), and one of my horses was named RoyalGhost - unfortunately, that was taken so I had to go plural haha. But yeah, it is simply based on a pixel horse 😂

I too hope to hang up bird feeders by the window one day, though that is more for me (I like watching birds too haha). I secretly stockpiled the cards over the last few weeks and was finally able to gift them to my mom tonight! I am absolutely blown away, thank you all so, so much for the beautiful, wonderful, fun mail you sent to her. I am so grateful to have been able to surprise her with all this. 🥹 She was absolutely touched and overwhelmed with joy (she cried, I cried, we crode) and kept saying “I can’t believe this, I can’t believe this” as she opened each card. She wanted to extend a huge thank you to each of you for your kindness and for sending some Halloween magic to her!

I saw a video on Tik Tok before talking about health insurance companies which reminded me of what health insurance was like before the ACA. I think no matter which way you vote you can agree that healthcare in America needs fixed.

I’m asking for people here to send me their thoughts on health insurance or horror stories they’ve had with health insurance companies or doctors office’s regarding co pays or deductibles. Maybe you have an idea on how to fix health insurance? Perhaps you’re from another country & want to talk about the health system in your country? Spill the tea.

I was just thinking it’s been too long since I traded with my international friends.

When I trade internationally I like to send multiple written postcards in an envelope with a greeting card at one time to maximize our postage costs. I can usually send 3-4 postcards & a greeting card for the same price.
