The Lofts at Narrow smells
I went to visit a friend and was hit with that awful smell right when I walked in. It smells like some kind of oil. I got nauseated and a bad headache within 10 minutes. I stayed to taste it in my mouth too. I had to leave.
I remember years ago someone told me that oil was seeping in under the epoxy on the floors because they did a shoddy job (no surprise as Metropolitan owns it).
But for anyone who lives there.. are ya’ll okay?!

I’ve heard this has been an issue for years! Sometimes I’ve smelled it walking into B2, but it goes away quickly. Idk how people can live there

That's exactly why I cannot eat at B2. Had to leave a dinner early because the smell made me nauseous and lightheaded and I was afraid I was going to pass out.

If it's that bad, residents should insist on independent testing. The odor is probably just an annoyance, but who knows. Or at minimum, researching the history of the building and what was used in there. On the bright side, it's a rental building so residents aren't stuck there.
