Took me 3 minutes of searching.
https://youtube.com/@wildmajesty?si=wzbTGAvvbXu5nmj0
It’s AI from a channel that has loads of these ibex shots. But it’s all the same ibex. The blond spot on its side gives it away. There are also clips where there’s 2 ibex in the shot and it’s the same ibex.
Use your brains folks.

It took you three minutes of searching to find it. Most of us don't have time to waste like that. We need people like you. Just don't need the attitude.

u/Its_Obvi_PShopped 17d ago
Took him longer to post it than I did to search.

How much total time have you invested now? If you thought this whole thing was pointless before, we obviously have become even less productive.

Yeah, I'm far too busy to meddle is things like this on Reddit. You see, my job demands my constant attention at all time. Any lapse of focus could be catastrophic.
This is why I am so careful with my time and words I use to be the most efficient and time effective as I can be. It's important to me and what I think about a lot. Focus and being quick to the point. Not wasing any extra words and stuff like that.

u/The_Mr_Decan 16d ago
Yeah me too, I cant be sitting around informing and explaining these things, my job is super important and if I dont pay it attention 100% djfjjfjdhxbxbdc oh shit sjdjjzjxjd
Ill be right back, hold on chat.

Almost everyone has 3 minutes, I guarantee you. You aren't as busy as this world would like to make you believe you are.
4
u/Zanockthael 16d ago
3 minutes. To track down one video. Out of the thousands that are being made every day with AI.
I guarantee you, no one has the time. This shit is working because everyone is busier than you would like to believe they are.

u/Hot_Palpitation_5841 16d ago
Who has time to watch thousands of these videos? However, if you watch one, you probably have time to do a quick search such as this. As Its_Obvi_PShopped said, it took them less time to search for this than it did for OP to post the video and ask the question lol

I see you deleted the other comment. You get the joke now, right?
Dude was like, "You seem to be spending a lot of time telling us how important you are when you should really be getting back to work..."
-2
u/TheRedIguana 16d ago
Oh no sir. I am actually that busy. Three minutes to me is an eternity. I accomplished tasks at an incredible pace and can maintain that productivity for long periods.
Perhaps you just aren't in circles with busy people.
1
u/RavineAls 16d ago
u clearly have 3 minute to argue here
0
u/TheRedIguana 16d ago
That was the joke. To write long pointless replies about how I don't have time to write long pointless replies.
I'm not arguing, I'm cracking myself up over here at it flying way over your head.

You're mad at the wrong person. Most of these posts are incredibly clear cut and take less than a couple minutes to look up.
The one you should have a problem with is the losers creating all this slop.

They don't get paid to look shit up for people. They can have all the attitude they want
1
u/TheRedIguana 16d ago
And where might your attitude be coming from? That you don't get paid to do anything at all?
-2
u/Rampirez 16d ago
I was on the clock for that comment so idk what you're on about
0
u/TheRedIguana 16d ago
That's awesome. You are justifying yourself to me. Which by definition means you care what I think about you.
Sorry dude. I'm just not looking for a relationship right now.

How weak are you that "attitude" hurts your feelings lol
2
u/TheRedIguana 16d ago
I would say your comment is more rude than mine. And even more useless than mine. And less funny than mine.
If my comment and your comment got into a battle, mine would wipe the floor with yours. It would be embarrassing.

Apart from the solid answer, was that last statement needed? I can see why people view redditors as having a superiority complex or know-it-all attitude.

"Took me 3 minutes.." "Use your brains folks"
Unsolicited masterclass in how to ruin a top tier comment.

Its such a weirdly specific thing to fixate on
I can understand AI chuds using it for terrible porn and memes, but why this specific animal? They exist in real life! They're cool in real life!

It’s at the same time a ridiculous amount of air and I don’t see any easy giveaway. I think ai because of physics and duration of clip but I want it to be real

Also why the hell would an Ibex ram the side of a mountain with its horns. They're tough but not that stupid.

u/tashibum 17d ago
It's AI. The physics are all wrong, and there is no reason for it to headbutt the rocks. The headbutting physics alone are the main giveaway.

u/SammyB0111 17d ago
Gut feeling it’s fake, but I can’t spot anything specifically that screams AI
Who’s filming this? Why are they filming in the mountains on a foggy day? How did they know to catch a goat jumping across a gap like this? I’m certainly not an expert, but I’ve seen a fair share of nature footage and that’s not something I’ve really come across much of before.
Maybe it’s real, but it smells funny

Its AI. the parting of the fur on its flanks is the tell. First 3 seconds its perfect behind the front leg and in front of the back leg. But the front parting stays visible when the detail is lost on the rear legs, and visible though the fog as it jumps. Too visible to the point of looking like gills.
If that detail faded when the back fur detail faded then yeah. But no.

The physics looks off to me, especially when it pulls itself up at the end then kind of bounces away? Like in trying to imitate slow motion it just gave everything moon gravity
2
u/tennille_24 16d ago
Right, the headbutting upon landing +gravity should have probably knocked it off the ledge. But SOMEHOW it's able to grip the ledge with it's HOOVES and pull itself up?? Math ain't mathin.
4
u/Swagalyst 17d ago
Sure looks like it. The landing especially does not make physical sense. Even for an ibex
2
u/afgan1984 17d ago
Those mountain goats are mental, I would not be surprised if it was real...
What makes it look fishy is the slow motion, but if that is how it was filmed/edited... then again, not a problem.
I can't see anything suspicious, except of the actual setting, but that is because those goats are insane and do insane shit (also often outright die doing it).

u/InfiniteMind1999 16d ago
It's common knowledge of how the real world works... That's sedimentary rock, it will chip and break away easily whilst putting excess force on it, it is also wet and slippery. Goats are incredible climbers, but just as good as they climb, they're smart, a goat without being chased wouldn't chance a jump like that in these conditions. Their is no struggle or worry in his stride before he jump, he has a graceful stride. When he lands, there is no residual bounce, like he has adhesion to his body or something.. no not at all, he wouldn't bounce entirely off it in the real world, but his hooves would'nt be stationary whilst trying to grasp into the rock that is breaking away, and again ... Wet. I believe it is AI due to common sense and real world physics that ai has yet the ability to capture.

How will a human ever film this? It would have to be a super long camera lens and the tiniest movement of the hand would completely lose the goat from the video. Yet this shows a fast moving object, that stops in an instant, perfectly in frame through all of the video.

u/ReddBroccoli 17d ago
Out of all the reasons to doubt the video, this ain't it. There are a lot of very talented wildlife photographers who have gotten far more challenging shots than this.

u/ReddBroccoli 17d ago
It's uncanny to say the least. My instinct is AI, but nature can be pretty crazy
1
u/External-Gain-1174 17d ago
that headbutt... real animals wouldnt fight the ground they're trying to land on
kinda depressing... ibex do similar jumps in reality. theres amazing real footage of these animals. now ppl will skip them thinking theyre fakes like this one...

Without knowing, just the physics alone of the ibex slamming into the cliff and pulling itself up is sheerly impossible.

1
u/Aggravating_Poet_675 15d ago
The rubble stops falling immediately when the ibex moves away. If it was real, there would be a slow trickle of rubble that was knocked loose for a good while after the ibex was gone.

u/feckingnerd 17d ago
You need to learn that goats dont gaf about anything. Distance, grip, height, gravity, nothing

u/Tealightzone 17d ago
Are you AI? It’s really starting to seem like AI bots are flooding this sub with obviously non-AI videos to overwhelm, distract, and delegitimize efforts to educate about AI proofing.

Sentiment: 85% AI
Sentiment reasoning: Commenters widely agree it is AI due to unrealistic physics, especially the landing, headbutting, and lack of bounce. Other reasons include inconsistent fur detail, suspicious filming, the identification of the source as an AI channel with duplicate ibex, and the unnatural behavior of the animal in the given conditions.
