Looks more like a migrant crisis than student protest.

These are more driven from immigration who can’t afford living there

The very protests that started in the name of peaceful student protests!

Imagine saying this in 2012 lol. "I think the govt should detain Anna Hazare. These protests that are starting in the name of peaceful student protests are just a facade"

You think posting all these clips would make people wary? This will never happen here because (1) The protesters are extremely peaceful in India and (2) The Delhi police is too violent

WTF!! I am really confused. Are you a bot who puts random words together or just a bot who is trained to spread misinformation?

How was Amit Shah even involved in 2012? How are students peaceful after what happened in July?

What did happen in July? Students were beaten by the police?

7

u/thegreatindianman 7h ago

After breaking the BNS 163 order.

If you don’t follow the rules, you don’t get right to protest.

Let’s be clear- if constitution gives you power and right to protest, that same constitution gives the government and police to enforce the law with the required force.

Minimal required force *

The above video is proof that July narrative that you have been fed is only to discredit the protests.

The above video is proof that a crowd of thousands when wants violence can easily do a lot more damage. July conflict was a reaction to how the protestors were treated. But again if you want to go by he said she said narrative instead of what is blatantly obvious, you would call the July protest violent too.

I am not going to respond to this thread further. Because I mostly know you are going to say one of the 5 things based on one non contextual evidence.

Apologies it's 3:20 AM and I'm trippin lol I meant Anna Hazare not Amit Shah

Anna Hazare protest was a peaceful protest. They didn’t disrupt much of the peace in the streets.

Just before the protest started Anna was detained with 1300 people.

Can’t paste the site but first search gives you the details.

Even then, Delhi police cracked down on protesters sleeping peacefully in middle of night and killed a 50 something lady in lathi charge. Protester had to flee in ladies dresses.

You guys call Modi a dictator while you guys support bringing the dictator government back.

Mind you anna hazare was a war veteran and these protesters are not peaceful they are as violent as these fuskers just the difference is there leader is a coward who run on the first sight of jail bars

When a 56 year old can be a youth icon,....

His biological age may be 56 but he can swim in the cold water, he could run up and trek to Kedarnath, he is a taekwondo champion and is fit that can be easily seen by his biceps from the t-shirt. If today there is any alternative for GenZ other than Abhijit Dipke it is him.

Don't they have police, military, anything? How can something like this even happen

9

u/0n0n-o 9h ago

They voted for this and allowed them in.

Students wanted less schools hours and started protesting. They gained support from playstation sympathizing groups which sabotaged the protest and turned it violent.

Complete crackdown of these kinds of mobs isn't possible without any collateral damage which almost always means losing power in next elections for any government

3

u/sabzienthuziast 7h ago

bhai the protest is over budget cuts in education!?????

5

u/ChessableATA 8h ago

What? It has nothing to do with students wanting fewer school hours. The issue was that there were massive teacher shortages, overcrowded classrooms, poorly designed university portals, and schools with deteriorating infrastructure. The least relevant reason is long timetables.

This is also not a purely student protest - That's how it started, yes, but it has since become a nationwide protest including students/teachers/trade unions/parents. In fact, the student protest part followed a teacher strike, which the government basically chose to do nothing about.

Most French people BELIEVE that the movement is justified. This is poll-verified. Stop using the LFI, regrettably weaponising a small subpart of this movement (resulting in violent encounters) as a reason to dismiss the negligence of the French Government.

And if you're wondering what prompted such a degree of outrage specifically agaisnt the police: https://www.amnesty.fr/actualites/france-mouvement-lyceens-blocus-lycees-point-sur-la-situation/ (will have to translate into eng)

Peaceful community protesting peacefully while hiding their faces behind Keffiyeh.

0

u/Exact_Release128 4h ago

We got France turned into bihar, before we could turn bihar into France😭😭

6

u/Timely_Tap8 4h ago

You have to insult another country while insulting your own even though it has no relevance.

7

u/Visible_Reality_8699 3h ago

France was always like that. No need to bring Bihar into this.

2

u/Sea-Coat-9969 3h ago

Here indian police is complaining about indian youth being violent

5

u/RemarkableBluejay790 9h ago

Are you suggesting that we should wait till something like this happens?

3

u/Creepy_Estimate9827 9h ago

Bhai in logon ko kam nahi karna hai uske liye gali bhi sunna hota hai these people feel entitiled and revolution layenge but they don't know what to do with this revolution. End of the revolution u have to work which no one wants. Someone said pyar jununi achha lagta hai par pyar boring hi sachha and achha hota hai.

2

u/VinsmokeZoro30553 6h ago

That just shows how conviniently you trust the DP, and it vanishes in certain cases. They had deployed 40K personnel here. And please don't compare ourselves to the French......They've set Paris on fire multiple times, for football.....We have passionate cricket fans, never seen such violence

1

u/Immediate_Phone3310 8h ago

if people are detained pre-emptively like what we are saying, there's no reason to believe people won't resort to the French way

1

u/Famous-Raccoon9840 9h ago

No here Delhi Police is already in this mode.

0

u/akatsuki294 2h ago

France has a long history of protests, so its nothing new
