[DISCUSSION] Purple Stain Demo

Any one heard this demo? I did recently and actually think it’s pretty cool. Basically a mix of Get on Top and Purple Stain but it has some really cool parts.

Teatro sessions have been popular in this sub for a long time now.

My personal favourites are momason and trouble in the pub (which was basically fat dance demo)

Yeah, not on Spotify, but it's all on YouTube along side a ton of other non-spotify songs (rivers of Avalon, time, gongli, Kaly, Outerspace, etc). You can download them as MP3s and turn on local files on Spotify, and then you can add them to playlists that way which is cool

teatro sessions hit different when you've got a long drive ahead. that bass chase in the final version was worth the wait though

I’m glad in turned into what it became. The bassline and the guitar line chasing each other is the best part of the song.

Interesting that the part around 2:54 that they cut out sounds like it could have been on Unlimited Love or Dream Canteen

Very interesting the chorus was completely reworked, similar to Desecration Smile

I think it prefer the song having a bridge. It breaks the very similar verses into separate parts of the song

Really curious about what effects John' was experimenting with in this jam. It sounds like he could be playing with Flea's Qtron and or stacking WH-10 on bass mode with a Phase100...I'm lost tbh

The solo on the album version of Savior is the EHX 16 Second Delay with the MicroSynth.
