Sponge?

I think I have some sponges bothering my coral. Should I remove them ?

Gently remove the sponge using a toothpick or something of that sort. I also use a makeup brush that’s usually used for eyebrows for this kind of thing as it’s stiffer

Mostly harmless. A pair of tweezers and just rip it off. It's not the cause of the poor polyp expansion. Is this a fairly new tank setup?
