So all of those who ripped Lern for being emotional about Dolly Parton must also hate Rizz for being emotional talking about 9/11.

If you don't understand the difference between getting emotional because a celebrity that you never met died, or seeing innocent people die because of terrorism, there is no hope for you.

And if you don’t understand that people you’ve never met frequently have a profound impact on one’s life, then there is no hope for you. Is Dolly’s death comparable to 9-11? Of course not. But we don’t get to be the police of how upset an event can make a person.

We don't get to police that. But, the way she acts about celebrities and the way she acted the day she died, is just a look at me and how much I cared about her. Other people died going to work. I wonder if she cried for them? She may have, but the original post doesn't stand on it's own.

Sounds like maybe you just don’t like Lern? I cried actual tears when Eddie Van Halen died. I never met him, but he was a huge part of my life and it hit me hard. Much harder than the death of some relatives. Was that for show, too? Because nobody saw but my wife. To automatically assume it was performative is silly.

Yeah, I see your point. A kind-hearted country singer who lived a long, good life is obviously worth being sad about, and Lern is allowed to cry.
But I do think there’s a pretty significant difference between that and Rizz, who was actually in New York when this happened and can still viscerally remember what the air smelled like in the week afterward. He’s reacting to legit hero a literal “savior of humanity” so to speak. He went up the stairs when others went down. a straight up hero.
That’s a tiny bit different.
Lern seems to be more generally celebrity-obsessed she’d cry if a Kardashian or Goldie Hawn died too.

Good lord dude no. He's saying that people can grieve for a lot of different people. I grieved when Robin Williams died. Didn't know him personally but he meant a lot to me. That's all he is saying. People are allowed to grieve others.

Have any of not realized by now that the hate for lern is because bro couldn't ever get a woman as hot as her. I also believe they are jealous of rafe because in there minds he's riding the hobby horse with her. I also had that thought so yeah kinda jealous myself. He has that smokin hot chick from Texas supposedly guys winning at life. But no rizz was there, albeit roller blading but he lived thru one of the biggest tragedies of our life times at ground zero. I couldn't imagine how many people he knew that was there on that day.
