This is one of the original Soul Train dancers, Evette Moss aka "Legs." Every time she was dancing and coming down the Soul Train line, it was high En-Er-Gy! 🫡👏🏿🙌🏿🫶

Man, I watched Soul Train every Saturday afternoon. American Bandstand was so lame compared to Soul Train. The sooooooooouuuuuuuuuuul train!

So funny the things you don't realize you remember. I recognized her soul train familiarness immediately!

Love those gleaming keys on the pre-chorus. Kashif was the man!

Love the way him and Steve Arrington enunciate when they’re singing.

Btw see you Miss Soul Train on the left with the long hair lol

Every time I hear this song and see this video, I think of Soul Train. The dancers in the background were some of the more popular Soul Train dancers of that era. This was my era Soul Train and I'll always have such great memories of music, dancing, and fun! 🫡😎👏🏿🙌🏿

“Keeping Love New” is the album title, all produced by Kashif.
Great dance tracks, sadly with almost no information on Apple Music about the extra musicians.

Superb funky slap bass for instance on “This Is Heaven”, “Jam Song” and the title track. 🎸
Though these tracks are good but not great. A bit backwards, 70s not so much 80s. 🤔
