Subreddit growth and moderation going forward.
Hello users of /r/roomdetective. This sub has seen some significant growth in the last year! I'm not the creator of the subreddit, but I have been the only mod for quite some time now. Until recently I really did not need to visit very often and I have never hammered out any official rules.
Today I did add a couple common sense rules about doxxing and personal information. I am making this post to ask for any community recommendations for rules going forward. I hope to keep it pretty simple. I do not want to police peoples thought or opinions as long as posts and comments are not maliciously insulting and stay within the intent of the subreddit.
Once rules are finalized I will also open the moderator list up soon to 1-3 more moderators.

My bedroom, running it back.
Last time I posted here, y'all absolutely cooked me 😂 Got called Howard Wolowitz more times than I'd like to admit, and honestly, you weren't entirely wrong.
Well, I took some of your suggestions, made a few changes and toned things down a bit. Mike Tyson is gone, but I'm keeping my style lol.
Figured I'd run it back. Let's hear it 😂

What does my room say about me?
I posted like a year ago, and while things haven't changed massively, I do keep my room much tidier (I did hoover just before this, there's usually a piece of paper or two on the floor, and my desk is sometimes a little messier, but it doesn't get massively messier than this), so I'm curious to see how that changes people's perceptions.

What does my room say about me?
Not very aesthetically pleasing, I know. Guess my concentration. 🧐

now that it's clean(er), what does my room say about me?
some notes:
- all the clothes in those laundry baskets are clean, i've been meaning to get around to attempting to cull them down to an amount that will fit in my dresser
- i sleep on the couch, not the bed. i can't replace the bed with shelves for my stuffed animals because the bed is where my family members from across the country sleep when one of them comes to visit and me and my family could not handle the hassle of dissasembling and reassembling everything as needed
- this is what the stuffed animal hoard looks like after donating all the ones i wasn't emotionally attached to
- if the table looks sad, that's because i can't find the box where all the things on it were was put during a recent deep clean

Adding pics for existing post- canopy questions
Hi all- I’m new to the Reddit community and this app- don’t know how to add pics to my post but had questions about the canopy in my bedroom and wanted to post how it’s hung-
also a good update for those who had questions about it maybe being AI (it’s not) and things changing- I’m always adding/ updating my space :)
you should see the rooms my daughter has had over the years… I definitely take my creativity out on my living space. Some will hate it- I love it :) thanks all for making me feel like part of the community during a difficult time

What are your assumptions about me based on my room/bathroom?

roast my living space based entirely on this one corner of my room
yes that is an empty la croix can that has been sitting on that stack of unread paperbacks for at least five days and yes that houseplant is hanging on by a literal thread because i keep forgetting it exists until its leaves start looking crispy
