Routesetting Trainee 30Yo
Hey, just throwing this out there.
I’ve got a chance to do a traineeship at my local gym as a Route setter. I have to do an interview still and it’s long odds to get it but just wondering what RS would look for in a trainee? And a 30yo trainee.
I’ve been climbing years and know the team well but just looking for any specific resources to double down on? Any points that mean the most to RS training?
I have a career alongside the traineeship(1day a week). Any thoughts? Any suggestions?
Would you consider teaching someone in their late 20’s that might be going through a career transition situation. I’m a carpenter if that’s relevant.
