Running Stroller
Hi everyone!
I am due at the end of May and am looking at running strollers! I am being offered my friend's Thule Chariot-style stroller at a great price.
I am a first-time mom, and I am looking for feedback on the "standard" running stroller vs. the chariot style!
Thanks!

I don’t have experience with the chariot but I run a lot with my urban glide that I got second hand. Strollers really depend on lifestyle. But my experience is that I have found Thule accessories to be pretty pricey, and some even almost impossible to find (the freakin snacktray). So make sure if it needs any accessories to fit it to the activity you hope to use it for, you incorporate that into your price! IE It looks like it might need a jogging kit might be an add on if your friend didn’t already have it! Or if you want to use it on a bike I’m sure it may require adapters too there. One other difference is that mine has a handbrake built in, and I think that’s an add on w a chariot. I use that brake a LOT as I live in a fairly hilly terrain and do speed work when i have my daughter. So that might be something you’d want to seriously consider!
I am so thankful for running with my daughter. It’s really such a gift. I get so excited when i hear about other new moms who plan to experience it :) congratulations!!

She used it for running and has the accessory to switch it to the bike and something else!
And thank you! I am excited :)

I have a very old chariot style that I got on marketplace and love it. It's really nice to be able to use the bug net and rain cover when needed. It also keeps all of toys/cups/snacks/books inside which is so nice. There is much less of a chance of having to stop and pick things up. Also, it sits up straight which is great for todddlers/small children. Some jogging strollers don't sit up all the way upright which my daughter hates. I have run up to 13 miles with my daughter in the chariot. It is not ideal for getting in the back of the car but I can do it. I think some of the newer versions fold up a bit better.

This one is at least 8 years old! How old was your daughter when you started running with her in it? Wondering if I will need the canopy attachement
