Am I missing something or are they not aware that Harden was outstanding for them post-trade? Was a huge upgrade over Garland, were on a 60-win pace after he joined them, had big playoff games that helped advance them to the ECF.

And because he made less that Garland they were able to swing the Watson trade.

He’s ranked on every top 100 list in the top 35 at age 37 - (ringer has him at 31 and all they do is trash him). So why is he some laughing stock to Ryen as if he didn’t just look really good against the Raptors and Pistons elite defenses ?

is there a better example of a guy who is so clearly a an all time great 1B when paired with a 1A co host (simmons, svp)?

he can carry his own pod to a 3-4 seed, maybe even a 2 in the right year (that 95 bulls team was really good!), but when he’s paired with a 1a it becomes iconic. also an all time guest.

i wonder if his ego will ever allow him to accept that and maximize his potential. a lot of good years left.

i’m sure it’s easy and maximizes quality of life… but (selfishly, considering my commute) he’s foregoing potential greatness in the current format.

tl;dr: I'm not saying I would brag about contacting the police and giving them that girl's information etc., but I certainly wouldn't think someone was a loser if they did. That's literally what those posts are for (i.e., community watch).

Someone did something wrong, they got caught, that's on them. You don't need to go full vigilante-mode, but I think the emailer did the right thing, and Ceruti especially was the biggest loser for his response, as if it's cool to steal from a store in your 30s or something.

On the most recent pod with Sam Vecenie, Jokic was Silly's pick for MVP and he gave his reasons why. It seems very unlikely that Jokic will win the MVP this year for the following reasons:

• He's already won 3. Before you get mad at me, many MVP voters think about the historical context. Only Kareem (6), Jordan (5), Russell (5), LeBron (4), and Wilt (4) have 4 MVPs or more. Winning another would put him in a very select group. I'm not saying this should matter, but it likely will.
• As good as Jokic is, Denver probably won't win enough games. The key guys after Jokic are Murray, Gordon, and Cam Johnson, who all miss a bunch of games. I know Jokic has won in the past with not that great a team record, but it seems unlikely to happen again.
• Jokic's age. He's 31 and will be 32 at the end of the season. The MVP is a young man's award; no one 30+ has won it since Steve Nash in 2006.
• Wemby. If Wembanyama is as good as expected this season (and healthy), he's most likely winning. The media definitely likes him and is ready for him to be the biggest star in the league.

Forgive me if this has been posted before, but does the amount of advice to be PA grind anyone else’s gears? I understand that many people are very adverse to confrontation. But in my experience, being direct and respectful with someone is typically the best way. Being PA typically demonstrates cowardice and/or disrespect, which often leads to escalation. Curious to know how everyone else feels on the subject.

I will die laughing if Marvin Harrison just gave zero effort in Arizona and is actually really good.

I thought Monday’s podcast during the Tice portion was difficult to listen to.

I don’t know if it was because I was driving or what, but I noticed them talking over each other a ton. RR and Tice have an interesting relationship. You’d think they have chemistry with Russillo asking him on the show, but they get so excited they talk over each other.

Like I wonder how much prep they do together before recording. Anyone else notice it?
