When you rewatch the Scream movies, do you find yourself watching them through the lens of your own headcanons, even if those theories aren't officially canon?
For example, I'm one of those fans who headcanon Angelina Tyler as Roman's secret second Ghostface accomplice in Scream 3. Whenever I rewatch the movie, I interpret certain scenes with the idea that there were actually two killers, even though the final film only reveals Roman.
The same goes for the whole "who killed who" debate. Sometimes I'll rewatch a movie and assign certain kills, phone calls, or attacks to a specific Ghostface based on my own interpretation rather than what the fandom generally agrees on.
I'm curious if other fans do this too. Do your headcanons become part of how you personally experience the movies, or do you separate your theories from what's actually established onscreen?
And have you ever had a headcanon that made a particular Scream movie more enjoyable to rewatch?
