with real bread and cheese (no cheese sauce) I might try it

I mean you could probably make a variation of this that was somewhat ediable.

Maybe make the bread a bit smaller, round shape. Put the steak on it and then add some cheese and bbq sauce.

Oh right, that's a burger.

What’s wrong with the bread?

Basically a subway sandwich but with random ingredients. Covered in sauces. What a load of processed shit.

Hard pass that looks so gross. Split it up on a plate and I'm in but this is dumb

Americans: "Its so hard to eat proper food here, that's why so many people are overweight"

Also Americans:

I got the shits just from watching this.

How about no.

I don’t understand their passion with BBQ sauce, it kills the flavour of everything.

The clip is Australian

Looks like a new take on bunny chow, a South African dish.

4

u/tobotic Jul 29 '26

I had bobotie once and I've avoided South African food ever since.

Unless you count Nandos: Nandos is great.

Update: I've Googled "bunny chow" and I'm on board. I'm going to try this some time.

Gross. Try not to put "cheese" on everything.

One good thing about it.

It's made me want to make a shooter's sandwich again.

That looks legit. I'd eat them beef Wellington-ish sandwiches.

Much better than that fake cheese sloppy mess that was posted.

if your brisket is so bad you hide it in that mess of processed nonsense then you don’t have bbq

Served in a pig trough

Make this with chicken parm or sausage and peppers and you actually have something. The potential is there but these ingredients are weird. Bbq brisket and lasagna??

Where can I try this in uk?

1

u/tobotic Jul 30 '26

In your own home, I guess? None of the ingredients should be hard to source.

looks like cancer...

I do like the idea, but it just looks kinda nasty. Carbs on carbs put me off it. If you're going to do a stuffed loaf, at least remove the pasta and add meat, some sun-driedd tomatoe,s or other salad bits that can be roasted with some mozza or strong cheese.

This looks like it'd cause some new heart palpitation issues.

What an oozing mess of a food abomination, kill it with fire.

I'd smash that (for a week)

“Not for the faint hearted”

Not for the hearted, I felt my blood pressure go up with every ingredient.

Just make a brisket with the sauce and put the Mac and cheese next to it. Lets you eat the meat and coat the cheese in the runoff sauce-meat juice, allowing for a great mix of all the flavours. The tomato sauce from a lasagna would be a little much imo, you could make two dishes for the same amount of ingredients and it wouldn’t be the size of a human head

The skill and nuance of an American chef

Sometimes I understand the “I don’t like my food to touch people”

1

u/BumblingYokel Aug 28 '26

“ShitAmericansEat” with an Australian accent.

Okay, bud.

1

u/tobotic Aug 28 '26

Hence the flair.

1

u/BumblingYokel Aug 28 '26

Yeah, this entire sub is pointless.

1

u/mid-random Aug 28 '26

Based on the VO, that's not American.

1

u/blumieplume Sep 06 '26

This is Australian though.

Why do Americans eat like they have free healthcare?
