Why do Christians do the thing?
I heard about a Christian doing the thing. The thing is weird and bad. So why do you people do the thing?

I feel like we're getting dangerously close to making Romans 7 15 a sidehug

This is a complex situation, so I will break it down.
The thing is not weird and bad, you're just a sinner who doesn't realize that not the thing is weird and bad.
The thing is weird and bad, but the people who do that aren't real Christians so they don't count.
The thing might be weird and bad, but it was Godly men doing these things who were tempted and stumbled, and have repented and been reconciled with God. We should forgive them just as God has and have faith they won't be weird and bad again. Not doing so is holding resentment in your heart and doubting God who has forgiven them.

I don't do the thing, because I'm a good Christian. But people on reddit will say the thing is not bad because they hate Jesus. Don't worry, you're being persecuted for your great faith. They'll all get theirs
