Rate my rig.
Ive been on a tear lately after switching from vr to triples. I already had the shakers and wind sim, now I added the flags, streamdeck and built the enclosure out of 1" pink foam. Gotta get some ambient lighting next.

Oh man u got a great rig! I need to steal some of your ideas to enclose more. Also need triples still, but it will come with time.

Adding the Bruno Silva Cockpit Ambient Lighting plugin and some compatible light bars will pair nicely with that paneling, the GOVEE H6056 light bars are the most affordable option for this. I recently added 3 sets (6 bars in total) to my rig and that new plugin is amazing, especially in night races, well worth the one-time license fee!

Looks great! I didn't use insulation board on my lower enclosure but black foam board and then covered the inside with adhesive suede. I did just build a roof with ambient lights integrated with it and it really closes you off and is very immersion. Good job 👍

Nah, something about being enclosed in a pitch black box

Why would you block the sides and leave the top open?

The top is covered. I raised it 3 inches

Ah, I didn't clock that from the photos. What happens if you go motion in the future?

10/10 compared to mine atleast from these angles I can’t tell but I would add a roof maybe with some pvc tubes for a roll cage for extra details

May I ask which monitor stand you have?

I would honestly spend the extra money and get the simlab with the vario mounts. Aligning the monitors was a pain.

VR is super cool but I can't stand the feeling of having horse blinders on, peripheral vision is super important in racing, so until VR can do at least 180 degrees of horizontal FOV, Triples will be king. Not to mention being able to have a functional dash/button boxs, ect.

Dont get me wrong, immersion in VR is like nothing else. I really wanted triples so I could customize stuff. Im a tinkerer by heart, lol. Making and modifying my rig is just as fun as using it. I spent probably 6 hours getting a custom flag effect done on chatgpt.

Very fucking cool 👌
I’ve love to have a blast on triples, I’m stuck using VR but it’s still incredibly enjoyable

You can get a triple 27" for pretty cheap That's what I did, and it's amazing
