Hey guys, I am currently sitting in the Thrustmaster eco system and so far I was liking it, but the disconnects of the wheelbase / wheel started to frustate me a lot.. and I have been thinking a lot about switching to another system. I was really exited about the release of the news reg. Moza and their new PlayStation base (I only play on PS) but I think this will still take a lot of time until it gets released etc.

So, the McLaren RS50 Bundle caught my eye.. 8NM would be a „sweetspot“ upgrade for me I think.. and it just looks so clean and nice

do we have any owners here? How do you like it so far? What are its „weak points“, what does annoy you? What do you don’t like about it - or can you recommend it? And hows Logitechs customer service in cases where you need support? Because that was another huge down vote on Thrustmasters side..

Hey guys, I’m working on attaching a VRS DFP20 to my new sim lab rig. Problem is I’m not sure what hardware I need to mount the wheelbase to my front mount. I got the wheelbase secondhand and it didn’t come with hardware. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

Hi just raced for the first time in my brand new dream air (I never used VR before) in AMS2 and it was other dimension yes, impresive, but it made it even more evident an issue I noticed from the begining, the blurriness of moving objects, or when I move the head. For example if I stop in the track and a car pass me by it is evidently blurry, if I look to the advertising signs while driving fast they are blurry. I think this is the same effect I noticed in general VR games, when I move the head the image is like blurry till I stop the head.

For what I read I understood this is because the oled panels, the persistence, something like a tradeoff of this technology.

But not sure if the level of blurriness I see is normal, I know this is a big issue in the Dream Air SE because they have worst panels, but I assume the Dream Air should be much better.

Do you guys that use ams2 or similar with Dream air have the same experience?, is there some adjustment that can minimizes this blurriness?

for context, another person took me out earlier in the race and i dropped to the back after a pit stop.

I am not a racing sim person at all. My realm of video games is in FPS. My bf however is a huge car nerd and mechanic in real life. Unfortunately we live in an apartment with no garage and he pays a lot in rent and bills so he can’t really work on any project cars.

Long story short I would like to buy him a basic sim setup. I have my own very nice PC that I can use for games but I’m completely lost on what to get for a rig and would like to not spend more than $600. If that’s even possible. Please help me!! I want to get him a nice Christmas present that he can use when he comes home dead from work and just wants to relax.

1. Is there any way to buy it in Ukraine at a reasonable price?
2. Has anyone here ordered sim racing equipment from abroad to Ukraine? What was your experience like? How were the taxes and customs duties handled?

I’m looking for some comparisons between 49 inch ultrawide Monitors for Sim Racing.
I currently have a 1440p 27” triple monitor setup but it annoys me for several reasons.
That’s why I’m now looking for a 49” monitor.
Obviously, the most popular candidate would be a G9 Odyssey monitor. But the oled version comes close to 1000€.
I just saw the MSI MPG 491CQP Oled monitor. At the moment it’s available for 720€.
Is there by chance anyone who has this monitor and can give me a review on it?
I’m also not entirely sure if I want an oled screen or a VA Panel. Surely Oled looks better but Burn in kinda scares me.

I'm been simracing for a a while on a 34" ultrawide monitor. And I wanted to try VR for cheap to see if I like it / if motion sickness is an issue before deciding if it's the route I want to take or if I go with triples.

Do you think starting with a rift s in 2026 is a good way or is it way too old to get a proper idea of what vr racing is like ?

I can get a used Rift s for around 55€.

I also saw a used reverb g2 v1 for 85€ which sounds great but I heard the v1 cable had issues with AMD builds.

I have a Ryzen 7 5700x + 7800xt build, and play mainly LMU, Assetto Corsa and a bit of F1.

Hi, so I have an old PC. So I can't run every Rally games.

The PC is a Lenovo y510p. So finding games for it can be hard. I also have a pxn v99, and this wheel is not suported in some games.

I tried wrc 7. Doesn't work.

I tried Dirt Rally 1. Doesn't work.

I am searching for a good Rally game that i cant play on my wheel and my PC. I want it to be realistic but also fun.

One of the variants is rbr, but I am a beginner and I heard that game is NOT beginner friendly.

Hey everyone, it’s me again. I last posted earlier this year, showcasing my wooden rig made from pallets and a junkyard seat, paired with a 40-inch TV and Logitech G920. Well, I wanted to share my questionable financial decisions that led me to my new setup. I even managed to transform the bonus room into a dedicated race cave (work in progress) with my wife’s permission after assuring her that I had only spent a maximum of $500 on all the new equipment.

I gradually transitioned from single-player rally games to online racing and testing my racing skills (simulator). This was partly because I own a GR Corolla that I use for autocross and rallycross. Instead of risking damage to my car or speeding up the process, I prefer to spend more time in the simulator.

Now, I spend most of my time getting pit maneuvered into oblivion in D-license lobbies in both sports car racing and formula racing. I have a YouTube channel, but I won’t share it here because it’s likely against the rules, and I’m not as skilled as other content creators.

Hello, I've got this gauge cluster from this mx5 NB 2000 and am wondering how to connect it to my PC for use with asseto Corsa. I have absolutely zero wiring knowledge aside from the fact I know I need an Arduino of some sort so any info of what to buy is massively appreciated 👍

Has anyone used them and can compare them to the original T3PM set? PS5 + ACC. Thanks!

Well I wanna buy heu sprint pedals but saw a seller who selling sim net with haptics and I am curious about it. Asked him about it what is the differences between heu ultimate and he said there is not much difference and sim net is easier to make some adjustments compare to heu ultimate.

So I wonder is it really worth to go with sim net? Durability is good? I used fanatec CSL elite v1 for five years and feels like it is not enough anymore (definitely not spending money excuse lol). What is your reviews about it? I use g29 as base btw (hitting 10th year)

Note: the program is not digitally signed. Signing requires a paid certificate (hundreds of euros a year) and, without it, Windows or some antivirus programs may flag it as potentially harmful. Hey everyone, after a bit of research I finally built my first rig and I couldn’t be happier

•Sim Lab GT1 EVO
•Moza R12 wheelbase with SRP2 pedals and KS wheel
•NRG bucket seat
•34” LG VA monitor that’s on a swivel mount

I was originally going to get the Track Racer TR80S, but my local Microcenter had the GT1 EVO in stock so I decided to grab that instead. Super happy with it so far. It’s super sturdy, but slim enough to slide against the wall next to my desk.

Got the R12 bundle at Microcenter as well and I plan to upgrade the pedals first. Was looking at the Simsonn Plus X’s but if you guys have any recommendations let me know.

I mostly play AMS2 for now, but plan on doing some online racing once I get better. Excited to be a part of the hobby!
