Im like y1 and i compare w my other friends from other poly sch of biz n their graded modules r so little compared to ours.. wym our cc mods and electives r graded and theirs is only a pass/fail??? and they have 4 days of sch while i have 5 days os sch and the days r not exactly short as well……

And why the hell do we have graded class quizzes every week while the other poly students can js slack then mug for the exams at the end and still score a good grade….. Wtf…

bro do u guys not feel its kinda unfair cos im here suffering my ass off whole getting a lower gpa than them bc the workload is so much more than them,,, and they get a higher gpa coz they have so little graded modules and lesser days of sch???

ultimately uni’s js look at gpas not wtv poly u come from what…. so wth???

last sem i have like 8 graded mods and my frnds frm other poly sch of biz its only 4 graded mods….. Hello……????? and their content is somuch more lesser…..

for context sp econs we learn micro in term 1 and macro in term 2 but my frnd’s poly (shall not name) learn my term 1 content (micro) in the span of the whole sem… then they dont even have to do macro econs at all??? wth………..

does anybody know whther if i change poly do i have to redo y1…. its genuinely so stressful bro and every of my 8 mods last sem had group projects bro….. my teammates genuinely dont do shit…..

idk about other poly but it just doesn’t make sense.. atp we don’t even need cleaners, just set up washing stations and let us wash our own plates..

hi! i'm a poly student (not from an art/design course) applying to lasalle for the BA. torn between Fashion Media and Industries and Fashion Design and Textiles.

for context, i run a small fashion brand on the side. i design the pieces, did the early sewing myself, handle the branding, packaging, photos and content, and recently did my first manufactured drop. so i have real work, but it's more "brand building" than traditional art.

few qns:

1. for FMI, what kind of works did you include? is brand/content/campaign work ok or do they want more traditional art?
2. is it worth applying to both courses?
3. how was the interview like?

I applied on the first day morning as soon as the elective application opened and they somehow gave me the elective that is not in my 8 choices. I also submitted appealed and they said all 8 choices were oversubscribed and they are not first come first served basis. This is completely unfair for me cuz I have no interest in this assigned elective. Is there any way that I can file a complaint abt this or smth?

and they were wondering like what are the actual advantages of SPOT
does it help w cca points, gpa, portfolio
ive heard its also very time consuming, plus we have gpa, electives,cca and other commitments to balance

is SPOT really worth it? what is the main highlight or advantage of joining SPOT? what would be the main challenge when joining SPOT?
