Discussion (Questions, Advice, Polls) 🗣 Bday/Anniversary Posts
Every time I see a social media post showering their significant other with praise and love for their bday or anniversary - but I KNOW these people, so I know the crap they deal with in their relationship. I cannot roll my eyes hard enough!!
I'm so happy to be on my own. I can just focus on my pets, making money, working out, birding, and playing roller derby. And I recently got a puppy - didn't have to discuss it with anyone. I'm safe and comfy in my home. How have you brought love into your life as a single and happy person?

These People have a relationship just to put on a show on socials, to make believe they are more happy than others. While they are miserable and more lonely than someone who actually cares for him/herself Being single.

I love that you can enjoy you own life without needing a relationship. A relationship should add to that not take it away

Being single and happy also means not reading much into or assessing people’s life. Whether or not they are truly happy doesn’t matter.
I don’t even bother with posts, or other people’s life or the joy they want you to see. There are also single people who post about being happy and having the time of their life, but behind all that they are miserable with their singleness.

My cat is Izzy, puppy is Quark. Quark is way too hyper for her but she tolerates it and even plays with him until he gets to be too much. I think when he's a little older and calmer they'll be best friends (I hope)

I often wonder why they don't look at their significant other and say "happy anniversary" instead of posting it on social media.
