Can I ask a question?

Who upvotes this stuff -- just a random claim with a photo, no source or explanation given?

Did you upvote? Can you explain why? It just baffles me. Do you just reflexively agree with any random claim you see online ?

The mods should instantly permaban any account that does this

I got banned from PoursTea for calling out an AI slop post as being against their sub rules.

OP is a mod so banned me for calling them out.

Most of reddit sucks.

Well it's a good thing you aren't a mod here then.

That is exactly why it isn't removed: it's Facebook content that gets upvotes to /all. Mods love it because it makes number go up, driving "engagement" and presumed superiority for moderating a popular sub. Well, we all find self-confidence in many ways, some do it the hard and slow virtual points way.

This is all it takes for Redditors nowadays, just say anything negative about US or conservatives and free upvotes. Bonus if it's CCP propaganda.

90% of the top posts on this sub are ai slop posts upvoted by bots.

bots.

Or redditors, who are often indistinguishable from bots in terms of originality of thought. Though they are inferior in terms of reasoning and being informed about the facts at hand. So I'd bet it's redditors more than bots.

I think some of it is non-American Redditors who think everyone who sees a doctor goes bankrupt. There's a lot of people who will look at this and say "that's about right" with no further reading.
