It Needs a heavy duty case , just like all of the other iPhone’s ever released.

My 15 pro max has been naked for years and the titanium has held up well. I don’t often drop my phone but it has a tiny, almost imperceptible ding on the corner from one of the drops. Screen still looks good with no protector.

Nah, Iphone 14 doesn't need one. I hate cases, so I never use them for anything.

It still suprises me how it managed to survive, dropped it more than 20 times over 4 years.
Roughest drops so far - from 1.80m landed face on concrete, no cracks.
Chest hight drop on very rough, spiky asphalt - small dent on right side.
Chest hight drop on tiles - nothing.
and many many more, mostly asphalt. Once it landed at my feet and I accidently kicked it - it slid about 2 meters screen down and surprisingly no scratches

Iphones frame shouldn't be made of alluminium, it is poor design choice.

Yes, but. “Seeing people with cases on iPhones makes my skin crawl”

Apparently.
