Well you got a 50% chance that 60k one day party pays off

Oh, I forgot just how much prices have increased over the last month. I was referring to msrp.

So 15,000 on the wedding? That’s surprising reasonable. Good job! Know people that spend 10-20x that and are miserable together

I'll spill it. Ours was 20k. We had a nice venue, catering for 120 and an open bar. I have heard much worse but for me it is an expensive day.

Seems pretty cheap considering the amount of guests..

Thanks, my bride did a lot of the planning herself and just paid for day of support.

Honestly not too bad a price for the biggest party you’ll throw in your life.

I’d rather have the $20k, personally — but I get it.

Getting married in two weeks...

Show this video to my wife...

Who are you marrying....?

My second wife, obviously.

Either that or I'm just already calling her my wife because the accent on fiancé is annoying as fuck to type on a Chinese keyboard.

You can pick whichever you like more

seriously... The very fact that an single consumer enthusiast product can rival the cost of a fancy wedding. What timeline are we even living in?

I can fucking assure you that a wedding of $12 000 is anything but fancy, that's a 10 people wedding at your local restaurant with no dresscode lol

My 14k wedding had 50 people and it was perfect.

u/StrangelySerious- 1d ago

You didn't have a fucking "fancy" wedding for 14k for 50 people.

1

u/StrangelySerious- 1d ago

How the fuck was your wedding only 12k lol?

My wedding was only around 8k and I rented a small private island on airbnb. Gotta be smart, find the right everything for your situation and don't hire people you don't need. Real friends are helpful too.

Pre-covid didnt invite people we didnt care about

Have an older sister who did those things and learned not to do those things. like a wedding planner when she still ended up planning everything.

A lot of people are smart and dont book 'wedding venue' and just 'venue'

Sometimes they even book a 'photographer' and not a 'wedding photographer'

crazy huh
