I mean, it would be a Chinese investigation with a possibility of a negative outcome for them. Would their press be reporting on it?

A negative outcome for China? In what way? Regardless, investigating the (briefly tenured) US Press Secretary seems like something China would definitely jump at a chance to report on imo.

Doesn't really read that way to me personally, but I suppose that could be the case. The only reporting I see about their response so far (at least from Western outlets) is that they're inviting her to visit again because of her comment about China "lacking proper toilets", lol.
