This is the shit that gets me. This dude is as wealthy as Forbes says he is. But there's no way he is the wealthiest. You are telling me there aren't generational families that hold much larger private assets. Things that can't even be recorded they are so private and date so far back. But this dude. He's the richest. El oh El.

I mean, you don't even have to look at generational wealth alone. There's middle east oil sheikhs of the past century who probably don't disclose their entire value either but their "known net worths" are already the gdp of many small countries.

Then you have people who run drug empires making hand over foot who clearly aren't in the public light either. Pablo Escobar and the Cali Cartel made fortunes within a decade in the 80's, we probably don't know the modern equivalent and they might be making even more profit than we know of.

We only know people wealth when they have stock, so lots of people richer than Musk, Putin probably has him beat by 2-5x.

Show your working class.

The working class is Putin's stock. If he liquidized his assets, he would literally make the vulgus liquid.

Escobar spent enormous amounts of money just to buy rubber bands to hold their cash together.

I love the history of cocaine.

Pablo's share in the cartel was around 40%, not verified but an estimate.

Whilst they sold at wholesale costs, $1 trillion at $100 USD per gram is about 25,000 tones.

Obviously worldwide cocaine use is impossible to establish, but there's estimates around US use for 1988-1993 which sits around 2,175 tonnes.

Obviously the $100 per gram figure would be significantly less, and that is revenue only. The cartel would have had significant operational costs, such as employees or the infamous rubber band example. Not to mention the loss of buried cash destroyed by rats etc.

Pablo was bloody rich. Musk is a fkn next level wealth hoarder, though, the creepy cunt.

Cargill and Koch are just two of the absolutely huge privately owned companies.

The richest people in the world don't want you to know who they are. They probably laugh at people like Musk drawing attention to themselves. The real puppet masters could walk past you on the street and you wouldn't know.

Putin is the weathiest by some accounts, if measuring the weath available at their immediate disposal with nearly no checks/balances

Honestly, dehumanizing is an issue. We need to acknowledge that bad people are just people, otherwise we are thinking that a sane Human being is incapable of such deeds. They are humans, humans of the worst kind

u/2Completion2Ography 18h ago

Right? Its clearly a thing

Save dehumanization for the Nazis, otherwise w-- hm? Oh, right right, my bad.

It's clearly a thing, correct.
