Are we really qualifying this as a step towards flying cars? It's not even a viable path forward.

The thing probably has a flight time in the single digit minutes if not less than a minute sustained, and certainly isn't a real car inside. Just a shell full of nothin but tank.

It's not even a path that would scale with miniaturization. Always gonna need a shit ton of gas to do anything

The car fell. It never flew once in the entire "demo".

So when I jump up in the air, Im flying now? I should go get my pilots license

It can be cool but calling it a "flying car" is beyond silly
