I'm very right wing and politically active, but I get how "refused to apologize" does imply the onus is on her to correct something rather than it being a silly demand/purity test from the left
TBC, my point is that the politically unengaged dont typically say things like "the demands of the left". Regardless of your political orientation and feelings on who was right or wrong, it sounds something someone with political opinions would say.
She never said that was her reason, I said that was her reason lmao.
Admitting fault and apologizing for what you did is literally admitting that you're at fault for something bad, so apologizing is in a way saying "You're right, I take accountability for my wrongdoing, please forgive me" Her not wanting to pander to these freaks by giving some bumass apology to make the lefties feel good is, in a way, not catering to the demands of the left.
