Yes. Singing about injustice is fine. That's their message. It has been their message for decades.

They don't need to give speeches between their songs. When did we stop believing that the art was the expression of the artist?

This is such a bad take. I’m just a 38 year old firefighter and I’m not a nazi. Like damn. And I would go further to say that the vast majority of Metallica fans are not in fact, Nazis.

If he spoke out against Trump he would they would lose their audience overnight. That's the fanbase. They were good with putting filesharers in jail, though. They spoke before Congress in support. That's the politics they like.
