Yes. Singing about injustice is fine. That's their message. It has been their message for decades.

They don't need to give speeches between their songs. When did we stop believing that the art was the expression of the artist?

And yet, he decided to give a speech between songs.

Just not the one that you, and other non Metallica fans, wanted.

Most of the people involved in this drama are not and were never Metallica fans, so who really gives a shit.

I’m a fan of Metallica when they were metal.

James Hetfield is a pathetic coward.

Yup. The last 4 decades they’ve been corporate sellouts and pretty much the anti-thesis of metal. Hetfield is the main corporate shill.

THANK YOU.

They owe so much of their early success was due to Cliff Burton. Even a lot of the songs on …And Justice for All were based on riffs he wrote.

After that, they became music for divorced dad going through embarrassing midlife crises.

Could have just played his music instead of complaining about complaining. Kind of lame.

That's exactly what he would have done if he actually believed his concerts should be musical escapism.

Instead, he wanted to take shots at one side without making any commitments himself.

Lame and cowardly.
