The very origins of rock and roll are rooted in political statement and that has continued for 65 years. So they should just change that precedent for you?
The songs and music are rooted in political statements. That we agree. Again, i am paying to see a seal balance a ball on its nose, and allow me to escape reality. Thats it. Thats what entertainment is.
Art has always been a mirror for society. It's fine to make art that's just meant to be junk food for the mind because sometimes it's fun to eat junk food. If you eat junk food all the time, you die.
