People don't want Metallica to tell them how to think. People want Metallica to agree with them.

That is the point, it's a continuation of woke tyranny: you're either with us or against us and you risk your career / cancellation / public shaming and bullying, doxxing and simple physical intimidation and violence if you're against us.

Luckily Metallica and most others don't give a fuck about those people anymore.
