A car doesn't need to be road legal to drive it. No one's claiming it'll be able to fly for miles too

No it doesn't, how do you think people by racecars? Road legal means it can drive on public roads, you can ride anything on private roads/tracks.

You think anyone is actually going to get in this car while it does a barrel roll in the air? They aren’t going to be permitted to manufacture and sell this. Believe it or not, even race cars have safety standards.

Exactly. So a gimmick. Not a truly purchasable car. However, I’d be willing to bet that no one ever actually gets in this thing. If anyone does, it will be a stuntman who wants to prove he can do it. There’s no real market here.
