Yeah, France has repeatedly and consistently: cut taxes for the rich, cut social services, increased their police state, intentionally made their bureaucracy broken, intentionally made services hard to get, and sold off large sectors of their economy to private interest for pennies.

The result has been students, particularly in economically distressed areas, in schools with collapsing roofs, no climate control, overworked, amongst the worst quality education in Europe, rats.

This resulted in a protest. Police then proceeded to, and were caught, breaking windows to start rioting. Then used that as an excuse to start beating up children.

This has caused every left of center political organization to take to the streets, and the even expanding police state has responded with aggressive violence, including today tear gassing private businesses and other enclosed spaces while blocking off all exits.

Has nothing to do with Palestine and Antifa and mass illegal migration, right?.... Right?

Correct. Good boy, you're working exactly as intended. My thoughts go out to the families of the windows.

Lmao on the first part. The French are the most taxed country on the planet and the government is heavily in debt.

They have to cut social services among other things. They are heavily in debt. Money doesn’t grow on trees and they’ve pretty much tapped out the taxing part of revenue generation.

You simply have no clue what you're talking about.

As a percent of GDP it isn't even the highest in Europe as a % of GDP. I specifically talked about taxes on the rich, which would hardly make any difference to your argument. They are in debt because the politicians have quite intentionally ensured that things are shitty to force more cuts. They have already cut significantly, and it has provably made the economy worse.

Of course, I know you're literally a bot, but I thought it was worth responding to because humans read this.

France has never been richer than in 2026. We've got a repartition problem, the richest families went from 200 to 1000 billion euros in assets between 2017 and 2026.

When income tax was introduced in France in 1914 tax rates on income from assets were higher than those on earned income, and this was self-evident to everyone. Now with flat tax and else we do not tax the assets. This must be reversed.

Leftists are a lost cause. Don’t bother

Leftists fight for the poor and the environment. That is a noble cause but they can become blind to things.

Extreme right wing fight for … corporate interests?  Isolationism?  Against science?  I don’t understand them either but they seem to be a lot worse.

The center makes the most sense but too many people are being radicalized on either side
