They never went there to protest. They are rioters and looters. Every fucking time. They are legion, and our police and justice do near to nothing against this cancer.

Damn it's almost like people are fed up with their shitty government and having no future, can you believe that ?

Solution: import more people who have no future! Genius!

Brother the riots have nothing to do with immigrants jfc everyone who's saying this dumb shit has no understanding of French politics or economics at all and just want to be racist.

The riots are happening because France has diverted funding away from schools instead of diverting them away from pensions. For reference, France is the only developed country in the world where the average pensioner makes more money than the median full time worker. That's not an issue of immigrants, that's an issue of the government being rigged for boomers. It's also not an issue of capitalism vs socialism, it's just an issue of the government kowtowing to boomers and young people not fucking voting. French Gen X'rs literally burned down and destroyed government buildings when the French government tried to increase the retirement age because it's completely unsustainable at its current age.

But none of this fucking matters because you don't actually give a shit about the truth of the matter as long as you can scapegoat some other group for the issues because you just want an excuse to be racist.

You are right about the pensions. And I know France is a country with awful politics, it is dragging the rest of Europe down with itself. But I don't think the thugs in this video care about anything you are saying, it is just an excuse to riot. As we have seen on plenty of occasions in the recent years, PSG riots earlier this year. I have seen these idiots even with the marroccan flags in recent videos. How clear do you want it to be? Dont play this easy racist card when I'm right and we both know it.

its easier to image the end of the world rather than the end of capitalism.

This isn't the fault of capitalism, if anything it's the fault of a welfare state too generous to their boomers while they siphon money away from the budget that could have been used to support students or those actually in need.

You never get things from your government by asking nicely 🤷‍♂️

Classic dog whistle response from r/SipsTea

Mind you, those protests have nothing to do with immigration, you're all laughable with your shitty racist opinions, I'm glad you're all not French

"Hmm students are protesting because we're defunding schools but still keeping pension payments incredibly high, IT MUST BE THE FAULT OF IMMIGRANTS!"

Another braindead comment, most of them do not even stay, besides they produce more than they "cost". Far from having "no future!"...

The solution would be to crackdown on those who actually steal money by not paying billions in taxes, and force them to pay people decently based on inflation.

The only ones who get richer despite the inflations are corporations and the government who cuts down on everything and makes everyone poorer. Not the immigrants dumbass.

Burning shit and attacking citizens will make their future better?

0

u/Independent-Pack-922 1h ago

They've tried peaceful protests for years, and yeah the government doesn't hand out things when you ask nicely. You gotta make yourself heard.

1

u/HistoricalRange8340 1h ago

Ah and how do you think the government and 99% of the French people is going to react to criminal thugs burning their shit and attacking their people? By handing out what they want?

1

u/Independent-Pack-922 59m ago

The government hopefully will react soon, but so far they've only sent more policemen which in turn made the protesters angrier.

As for the French population, there's a big chunk in those protest already. They also have a lot of support from people who aren't protesting. And then there's a bunch of French people who think they should all shut up and work.

At this point, they're not even expecting anything, they're just angry given how bleak the future is, and they want the government to know it.

And no, obviously the government won't hand them out anything. Some of them are trying to make a revolution out of this, which is rather optimistic but I can't blame them, they got nothing to lose

1

u/HistoricalRange8340 50m ago

They got nothing to loose? I hope they’ll loose a lot when the get caught and have to take responsibility for what they did

We can't start burning down our cities every time the economy takes a turn for the worse!

People can be fed up and want to protest, but is burning buildings and looting the best way to draw attention to that?

1

u/Skykeep 25m ago

Yeah, lets burn down the country and its intstitutions, fuck the common man, am i right?

Opportunistic looters and rioters are mostly two different groups. Looters want to loot, rioters (pictured here) want to break stuff and attack cops.

If you're willing to riot, you're willing to loot. It's just dependent on what you have access to.

Opportunistic looters and rioters ("casseurs") are two different groups. Rioters don’t care much about clothes and stuff

Only americans love getting fucked in the ass daily by their cabal of corrupt millionaire politicians and still want to "peacefully protest".

Kids protested for weeks about the poor conditions of their education system, and all they got in return was "We're going to take away 2 weeks of your holidays if this keeps up".

Fucking disgusting. This latest protest was a mixture of a bunch of things, but if your government reacts like that to legitimate criticism, then yes, everything deserves to be fucking burnt down.

u/bobo7448 20m ago

As someone who has participated in many protests this is not true the crowd starts peaceful and the "rioters / looters" are told off by the crowd its only when the police escalates, that the crowd escalates until it ends in something like you see in the video. It might be different right now but that's only because of how violent the police has been in these recent protests. But even now protests start peaceful (no shit people are a lot more on edge tho).

u/bannedfromhell_9080 5h ago

Said the exact same thing in a certain other subreddit and got banned for "violence" while trying to refute another "person" who thinks this kind of violence is okay

And that’s why Marine Le Pen is going to win next year. Enough of this damn chaos!

0

u/Upset_Election9633 4h ago

Some of those that are enforcers, are the same that are rioters.
