No. This is complete chaos. Insurrection, not demonstrations. (I am French, I got around Paris on my bike today). Hords of guys in black, face covered. Fires, explosions. Many stores destroyed. This is engineered by the far left; who knows is pulling the strings in the background.

Why far left ? Far right has all the reasons to do that aswell.

Because Melenchon is parading among the crowd, perhaps? Because he’s vocally calling for violent action? The far right is staying on the shore with a big smile on their face. The useful idiot is doing all the work.

Mélenchon is losing control. These protests only fuel Le Pen's campaign. As a parisian, I'll shit on the Elysée if a far right scumbag ever enters there

I don't have a crystal ball, but I'm all in on Le Pen to win. She just took 10 points today. If you can't stand that, I suggest you leave now. It will be shaky. An authoritarian response is inevitable. With these riots, the economic situation is going to spiral down, the debt is crazy high, and nobody will want to invest here anymore. Rates will get crazy, poverty will increase massively. I don't know if Melenchon is losing control, I suspect he wants chaos. But France is not Venezuela, not even Russia in 1917. We don't have any oil, we can't create wealth out of nothing.

I'm a highschool student. If Le Pen wins, I'm confident I will not go back to school from may to july. Mélénchon wanted the high school blockades, but not the abomination this protest is.
Man i'm fucking scared I love my country. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.

50% chance 2027 will be the most important year in french history since 1958 (5th republic)

Because medias in France are saying it's all LFI's (left/far left party) fault, and that they are engineering the protests. They are not of course, tho they are on the protesters side.

They are, obviously, at least relaying. But maybe someone is pulling the strings in the background. I’m pretty confident what we’ve seen today is not spontaneous.
