This is identical to a comment thread under what I think was the same post before. Deja fuckin' vu over here

That monkey is going to eat your face.

Is the hand on the forehead thing sth innate for them or is it sth they learned from observing humans? Ive seen other monkeys havevthis kind of reaction for surprises too. I wonder if its a behavior wild monkeys also do

u/EverbodyHatesHugo 1h ago

It’s a reaction that humans learned from their monkey uncles.

Our munkles?

I've seen apes and gorillas roll their eyes in irritation so there's clearly some body movements that are not learned but just innate for humans and primates.

I learned it from watching you, dad!

Bro really went from πŸ’ to " WHAT KIND OF SORCERY IS THIS" πŸ˜πŸ’€ Monkeys are NOT ready for 2026πŸ˜‚

Chat, is this real?

u/Ill-Case-6048 1h ago

you swapped a real banana for a fake one...oh no.. my owner's a moron

u/Expensive_Editor_244 1h ago

Pretty sure the monkey isn’t an idiot, and this is a trick like β€˜shooting’ a dog to make him faint. If you did a more legit magic trick, like turning the box around to show it’s empty, I might believe it

It’s like our pay checks when taxes are taken out

2

u/aPiCase 1h ago

I hope this is real, but it's genuinely so hard to tell what is AI or not

2

u/EditedRed 1h ago

People actually "own" monkeys now?

2

u/GroundbreakingAd8310 1h ago

For like a really long time

Wish my monkey had the same enthusiasm

u/FlirtyPeonies 1h ago

He's processing it in real time. Give him a minute.

1

u/The-Tarman 1h ago

I hope he gave the little guy the banana when all was said and done

u/killuminatimantis 1h ago

πŸ’ - no wonder I'm small, I've been eating small banana my whole life.

There is 911 audio of a lady having her face ripped off while another women screams and begs for someone to come and shoot it and kill it.
