i practiced "thumbnail writing" for NanoWrimo. it's my first-first draft method for comics. so i write a paragraph of text or four then a few scenes that are rough doodles like this. I spent like 1h30m doing it so ill count it.
(I learned this method from Craig Thompson, a graphic novel writer/artist. It was from a random tedtalk esk video i saw years ago.)

This looks very overgrown! Like it's creeping out to get the viewer.
Welcome!

You've done a great job differentiating between the muzzle and the rest of the face

Lol The tiny basket. You really have given me strong impression of an overgrown tomato plant

I love that the plant is ready to burst out of the container!
Welcome! I'm happy you've found us. I'll tell you, as someone who has been afraid to show that I consider "bad" sketches because they're not perfect, doing a sketch every day has really helped me. I give myself a time limit unless I'm working on another project, and whatever I've got at the end is what I post, even if I think it's crap. Being able to let go of only showing "perfect" work has been very freeing. I hope you find the same.

That was accidental. I was aiming for a tree growing on top of a box, but as i've never deliberately studied leaves they came out awful so i ditched them, i had a hard time with the roots as well but if i had omitted them it wouldn't look like a plant anymore hihi.
Considering all that, perfectionism is a silly thing...
Thanks for commenting, i appreciate it. :D
