Personally, I think it looks good. Also, hopefully, this bodes well for seeing him in DBD in a couple of years.

Since there are many people who might prefer Slenderman with details on his face or just plain, I love that Fortnite lets you switch between both designs.

The only thing that is a shame is the fact that there is nothing referring to the so-called face he had in the originals, but I understand if it wasn't good enough for the game or if it implied something else.

This Halloween, I’ve decided I want to go as Slenderman, but I’ve never cosplayed before.

The outfit itself seems pretty easy: white gloves with a black suit and tie, which I already have. But I’d like to put more effort into the mask.

I’ve seen a lot of people simply wear a white fabric mask, which isn’t bad, but I’d like to make something that hides all facial features and looks more like a mannequin’s face.

I’ve watched several tutorials, but only one was close to what I’m looking for. They used one of those prop masks and covered it with white fabric, which looked much better than the other methods I found.

If anyone with more experience has any tips or another idea I haven’t considered, I’d really appreciate it! I’m planning to post updates and show how it turns out, assuming it doesn’t end up looking embarrassing 🤕.

So i just got done watching a few video essays, and from what i understand. The original forum implied anything added to it is canon, or atleast soft canon. This includes the operater despite him being viewed as a seperate character.

So my understanding is that he has a hatsune miku sort of deal in that every iteration of him is canon. That he is some sort of entity with multiple instances, though each instance has its own abilities and origins of how it came to be. So for example, the operator, and the version of slenderman from the original forum are both slenderman, but not the same exact instance of him.

I have yet to watch Dark yet, but the intro and what I’ve seen from trailers and images so far are pretty cool. So I decided to do the intro to the show with the big three of the Slenderverse. Took me a while, and this is probably gonna be a one time thing, so no Dark intro videos for DH00, MLA0 and WF. Hope you all like it!!!

This old slenderverse series FacelessFiles09 was created in 2013 and somehow in 2014 the series has ended and also I'm working for a old series because were archive of a old slenderverse series

HAVE A GOOD WATCH!!!!! :)

I feel like Robert Eggers cinematography is so close to the feeling of the original Slenderman photos created and edited by Eric Knudsen. What is awesome about Slenderman too is that he is a timeless character that can appear anywhere at any time, Robert could really run wild with this legend!

I’ll say right away that I love the concept of proxies, and I quite like proxy Masky and Hoody. I don’t see anything wrong with people liking alternate versions of characters, because, after all, that’s the point of fandoms. But there is a reason why I kinda hate it, it’s not that Hoodie and Masky were turned into some kind of twinks, or that because of these versions almost no one knows about the original Masky and Hoody — no, it’s not for those reasons; I hate this version BECAUSE PEOPLE CAN’T GIVE THEM AN INTERESTING BACKSTORY.

Original Marble Hornets Masky and Hoody have PERFECT backstories with GREAT character development. Meanwhile proxy versions… well…

“Hmm… should we create an interesting and creative backstory? Nah, Let’s just make another Jeff the Killer type of story, about a teenager who was bullied and then became a monster”— Slenderverse/Creepypasta fans, probably.

In my opinion, if fans rewrote the lore of the “Marble Hornets” it would make for a pretty good backstory for the proxy versions of Masky and Hoody.

What do you guys think about it?

What if I base my slenderverse series, MonolithArchives, more on the original mythos, while still throwing in some of Slendermans modern stuff like proxies, slender sickness, and audio/visual distortion in? I thought it would be a cool take, and I haven't seen many series' other than PARTIALLY TribeTwelve (but barely), DarkHarvest00, and Black Horizon, do it yet, so I would like to hear everyone's thoughts on it!
